Third City Coalition acknowledges it is located on the traditional, ancestral, and contemporary lands of Indigenous people near the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta—where the state’s two great rivers, the north-flowing San Joaquin and the south-flowing Sacramento, and several smaller rivers, merge. This is the ancestral homeland of the Northern Valley Yokuts people, who were forcibly removed from the land because of aggressive and persistent settler colonialism. We recognize that this place has a complex and layered history. As an organization dedicated to healing and improving our community, we are committed to ongoing efforts to support and advocate for Indigenous-led grassroots change movements and campaigns. #LandBack #MMIWG
